I have gone though every lecture you delivered, and always look forward to anything coming from u. I had a question, which only you can aanswer, I wish to know your view about sheikh taqiuddin nabhani, and his ijtihad on the methodology to establish Khialafah. The intention is purely to understand seratal mustaqim. I know most of the stand of HT and you are the same. However I feel that you do not talk about that methodology, reasons unknown to me. I am sure you must be aware of this group.

Ya imam, I now you’ve been asked this on many occasions but can you please give a live talk on pal talk at least every 2 week, if that’s no possible then every month. Allah has made jummah fard on the man, and if the imams in masjids are not doing their jobs properly then the men will not receive the right information to charge their eman for the week and that will have an effect on all of us in the ummah of Rasullulah (saw), men and women. Please we need someone like you to advice us in the west as most of us don’t know of many scholars who speak the truth without watering anything down as beautifully as you do. We need to breed a new generation of scholars and imams and many of us in the west don’t have the chance to go and learn abroad so were told to learn here. But were so thirsty for knowledge that’s not watered down and the only way we can get that are from people like you. And a lot of us who have heard your lectures feel the same. And not only that but we need a guide too; a leader that tells us or shows us how to implement the things we learn properly.
Please please please give us naseeha at least once or twice a month (preferably live, but it’s not too much of a big deal so long as we get it).

Oh and by the way, if anyone agrees with the above statement then please say, and then maybe we can be like Hisham Ibn Amr who took the first steps to end the sanctions that took place against Rasoolulah (saw) in Mekkah. Omg that will be like so cool. You have to listen to the Imams lecture on the Mekken period to know what I mean.

Dear Sister, Untill your request is being entertained, i have a good idea for you. Sheikh has delivered so many series of lectures that if you started listening those (it is enough material)it might take a year for you to finish it off, and once you are done with all the series you will feel as you are graduated from some high tier Islamic University with a strong foundation and vivid concepts with a strong Imaan InshaAllah.

Dear jawad, Sheikh has already answered your question,however I will copy paste here.
Regarding the method of HT which you specifically referred to in your question, I first came in contact with HT members from Jordan in the early nineties and found them to be argumentative but well-mannered and polite. My first understanding of the Hizb was from them and they were core members of the group. HT has played an important role in raising the awareness of the ummah to the matter of khilafa. They also played a role in countering the false idea that politics and political awareness have nothing to do with Islam. However the method of HT to re-establish khilfah is simply not going to work. To wait for nusrah until it arrives is to wait for a miracle. Tribes or military generals that are supposed to give nusrah and establish the religion of Allah are not going to be won over simply by discussions. They will only be won over when they see a group of believers living by what they say and sacrifice all that they own for the sake of Allah. This is what will inspire others to join. The two success stories of powerful people giving nusrah to the religion are some of the former officers of the Iraqi baath regime who joined the insurgency and the former president of Chechnya, Dudayev, who was a high ranking officer in the Soviet army. Both these successful examples of nusra were not won over through debates, demonstrations and pamphlets but by them seeing a living example of men struggling in the path of Allah.

This leads me to the forth method of re-establishing khilafa and that is through Jihad fi sabilillah. The argument that you presented against this is that the only similar situation to our situation now is that of Rasulullah establishing an Islamic state first and then fighting Jihad. You are neglecting a serious difference and that is when Rasulullah established Madina there was no Islamic land that was invaded. Isn’t this a serious and major difference? Today the Muslim world is under occupation and the statements of our scholars are clear that it becomes fardh ayn on every able Muslim to fight to free the Muslim land. When something is fardh ayn it is fardh ayn. You cannot theorize or hypothesize otherwise. The ruling is clear and the implications of it are clear. So even if you do not believe Jihad to be the way to establish khilafah you must agree that Jihad is fardh ayn and that is not where HT stands. Also the jihad which is fardh ayn and is Jihad al dafa (defensive Jihad) does not require the one who wants to participate to seek the permission of the Imam, parents, husband, slave owner, or lender.

Also why should we argue on this point when we see the evidence of it in the real world. The two most successful examples, even though far from perfect, of Islamic rule in this past decade were the Taliban in Afghanistan and the Islamic courts in Somalia. In both countries only these Muslim fighters brought peace, security and rule of law in both countries. Both movements reached to power not through elections or debates but through war. They did not fall because they were failures but they fell because the ummah failed them. However, even though a battle here and there were lost but the war is not over. If you follow the current events and look at them with an attentive eye you would realize that it is the enemy who is bleeding to death not the Muslim fighters. Pretty soon the scales will tip.

Because confusion usually surrounds what is meant by Jihad whether it is the Jihad al Nafs or Jihad of the sword I do not exclusively mean one or the other and I do not exclude one or the other. What I mean by Jihad here is not just picking up a gun and fighting. Jihad is broader than that. What is meant by Jihad in this context is a total effort by the ummah to fight and defeat its enemy. Rasulullah says: Fight the disbelievers with your self, your wealth and your tongues. It is what Clausewitz would refer to as “total war” but with the Islamic rules of engagement. It is a battle in the battlefield and a battle for the hearts and minds of the people.

today morning i was hearing the lecture ” constants” and subhan Allah i heard a statement from Ibne taymiya “to preserve the capital is more imortant than the profit” and sheikh defined it as ” our capital is Muslim Ummah profit is dawa to non Muslims” and in current situation of war…… saving the capital is important not the profit… Subhan Allah… the message is so clear, when we are at war we need to be at war at that particular time. there is no dawa when enemy has invaded your land, its the time to defend… yes we do dawa on the method of Sahaba Razi Allah unho when we go to their lands raising our flag (of La iIaha ill-Allah).
…… alot of people claim to fight only those fighting in the field and be very specific with Kuffar and dont attack civilians..however this is not the case how they are targeting muslims, for them you being “Muslim” is enough and they are targeting us without any shame and discrimination… e.g look at those Kuffar who are involved in making caricatures? …(May Allah curse them) then who publish them? then who sell them? who market them? who are the people working in their media?. print or electronic and who keep on calling us terrorist? who are these who are snatching head scarf from our sisters in france? who are the immigration officers doing all this to Only Muslims? then you see the same role from their Police.. then same from their armies every where? there we conculde that yes it is a war against islam, thats why we see pea traps made up of Muslims women with Hijab, we see cross on Quran and we heard that favorite hobby of Zionist Kuffar whatever they used to do with Quran( May Allah destroy them all)….i dont even want to write what they were doing …. people talking about their civilians must note that…… this is all what they are,,,,,,, its “we vs them”……… there is no discrimination in civlian and fighters… they are all the same they are one… and they treat us as one…. May Allah give us the furqan to distinguish the Haq from Batil.

Wallahi i love you for the sake of Allah, because i honestly do not see any other person with immense knowledge in Islam speaking Huq as you do BarakAllahufik. When you was improsined i along with many others prayed for you with all my heart wallahi the brothers even arranged a salaat during late night with a special qunoot dua especially for you. Alhamdulillah allah accepted the dua of the believers I pray i can return to the land of my great grandparents (Yemen) and meet you there InshAllah. Shukran wa jazakhumAllahukhairan
